What Exactly is VILLAGE IN THE VALLEY?
Village in the Valley is a network of parents, providers and professionals serving exceptional youth and nontraditional learners in West Central Florida.
VITV connects families, not only with each other, but directly with local providers who are engaged and making an impact within our unique community. Some of our events and activities include:
- Educational series and workshops presented by VITV Partner Members in-person and online
- Parent/Partner mixers
- Family meetups and fieldtrips
- Parent connection and respite nights
- LILLY Learning Center annual events
- And so much more!
We find that it is these meaningful connections which
foster transformational relationships.
Educating parents & providers
We focus on providing learning opportunities for everyone in the Village including: educators, specialists, service providers, AND the parent-educators who steward our learners.
By providing education, comprehensive training, workshops, and opportunities for resource-sharing, Village in the Valley strengthens every essential member of the nontraditional learning community in West Central Florida collectively.

Because we know it takes a Village, we welcome the support of any local business or organization that seeks to serve the community with the same heart as the LILLY Education Foundation.
